How Vannus makes money — and what it never touches.

Vannus is the jurisdiction record for AI vendors, built around an evidence-gated methodology — where a vendor's own published documents say which company you contract with and under whose law, we record it, quoted and linked to the source. No vendor can pay to change a finding, and there is no paid placement on a record, in the catalog or in search. We can earn commissions through affiliate links to some of the vendors we record. Every one of those links is on this page, disclosed on the partner’s card, and this page explains how that revenue is kept away from the code that builds a record.

How Vannus Makes Money

Vannus charges for reports and audits, whoever buys them.

Vannus also has affiliate relationships with some of the vendors it records. They are listed in full below. When you sign up for a tool through a partner link on this page, we may earn a commission.

Here's what that means and — more importantly — what it doesn't mean.

What Affiliate Partnerships DO NOT Affect

• Records. A partner vendor's record is built by the same code, from the same kind of evidence, as every other vendor's, whatever the evidence shows. None of that code imports the affiliate list.
• Order. Search results and the catalog's lanes are computed without the affiliate list: the code that computes them does not import it.
• Visibility. Partner vendors get no better position in search results or in the catalog's lists. No commission link appears on a tool page, in the catalog or in search results; those links appear only on this page.

What Affiliate Partnerships DO Affect

• The links on this page. Each "Try" link below carries the partner's tracking code and is labeled beside it. Commission links appear only on this page: a tool's page, the catalog and search results link to the vendor's own site.
• Inclusion. 19 of the 23 partner vendors below entered the catalog when Vannus joined their partner program. One more, Gamma, was added on 5 May 2026 in a batch of new vendors made while partner sign-ups were under way, and Vannus joined its program on 6 June 2026. The other three — Semrush, QuillBot and Amplitude — were in the catalog by 12 March 2026, before their partnerships. Each card gives both dates. The two May 2026 batches added 21 vendors while sign-ups were under way; two of them, Apify and Gamma, became partners. Dry Ground AI entered with the July 2026 group of partner vendors; Vannus withdrew its partner link on 22 July 2026, and it stays in the catalog with no link. Being in the catalog means a vendor can be looked up; it is not a finding or a recommendation, and a partner vendor's record is built by the same code as every other.
• Revenue. Any commission earned through these links is revenue to Vannus.

Rules since 8 October 2026

1. Joining a partner program never adds a vendor to the catalog.
2. Vannus never joins a vendor’s partner program within 90 days of adding the vendor to the catalog. Each card below gives both dates, so this can be checked.
3. A finding never decides whether Vannus joins or stays in a partner program, except where the law requires it.

How to Verify Our Independence

Each finding in a record is quoted to its source and dated, or marked not disclosed where the vendor publishes nothing, so it can be checked against the vendor's own documents. The methodology page explains how a record is built, and the neutrality attestation lists the modules that do not import the affiliate code, and the test that fails the build if one of them does, directly or through the modules it imports in turn, including through a package’s __init__ file. If you think a partner vendor's record is wrong, the corrections process is free and open to anyone.
