This is a separate question from the grade above. The grade measures resilience — whether the tool endures and whether you could leave it. This describes who controls the vendor. A tool can score modestly on one and strongly on the other, and many do.

Freshdesk publishes a list of the other companies it uses to process customer data. It names 23 of them in 27 entries, because some appear more than once under different locations, each shown below with the location the vendor lists it under, in the vendor’s own words.
Freshdesk marks some of those entries and qualifies them below the table. Its words, kept with the entries because the qualification is part of the answer:
** Call recording if activated is generated in the US and then moved to the regional data center associated with the product instance.
**** Customers utilizing the Dropbox Sign integration within Freshsales will have their data processed through the Dropbox Sign servers situated in the EU.
*** Customers accessing Services from outside the region in which their Service instance is located (viz., US, EU, AUS, IND, ME) will have their data routed via the Cloudflare servers within the applicable region to the Service instance region.
Taken together those entries name at least Australia, European Union, India, Middle East, United States of America. That is what our place list could match in the vendor’s own words above, so treat it as a floor rather than the whole of it — the entries themselves are the record.
These are other companies, not Freshdesk. Where a sub-processor is listed as operating is a fact about that company. It is not a statement about where Freshdesk keeps your data, which Vannus publishes separately and only from a document in which the vendor says so.
